Get an inside look at the exhibition Facts and Fantasy: Illustrations of the Natural World, on view in the Hirsch Library. Facts and Fantasy explores book illustrations from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries that feature natural elements. Hirsch librarian Rebekah Boulton discusses these illustrations, which blend the realistic with the fantastical to showcase human inquisitiveness, investigation, creativity, and imagination.
